Pandemic Learning Impact Study
April 2021
In April 2021, Understood unveiled a Pandemic Learning Impact Study with insights on how the shift to remote learning and the pandemic have affected children and families academically, emotionally, and financially. The study surveyed 1,500 parents and found that those whose children have learning and thinking differences, like ADHD, or specific learning disabilities, like dyslexia, have noticed more challenges in remote learning compared with parents of children without these differences.
